Ruff Gaming @ Eurogamer Expo 2011 

It is that time of year once again where gamers from all over the UK travel to Earls Court in South West London for the Eurogamer Expo. The Expo is a fantastic chance for us gamers to get hands on with unreleased and new games that we might not normally. This year promises to be bigger and better than ever before with Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony bringing there big titles and machines to show off! Not only the big 3 will be there but also the other giants of the gaming industry will be there such as EA, Ubisoft, Capcom, Sega, Square-Enix to just name a few! There will also be the new boys to the market - OnLive showing off their new system and how it works. Sony will be giving UK gamers a chance to get hands on with their new handheld - PlayStation Vita! Games such as Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Batman: Arkham City, Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Forza 4, Mass Effect 3 & Super Mario 3D Land will be on show and playable - but these are only a few of the listed titles that will be there! 

This year will give the Ruff gaming Community a great chance to meet up face to face and say hi - If you are going then head over to our forum into the Ruff Chat Section under Community where we have a section to say what day you are going and also help with meeting up!

Watch out as I will be going on the Saturday and will be trying to get as many of the ruff gaming community on film and in photos! Also there is a large chunk of the RuffiansFC team going so hopefully we will be having a team photo taken at some point for the website.

So hopefully we all have a cracking time and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible!

A NEW COMPETITION

We have a new competition at here at Ruff Gaming - Gears of Ruff - Using the new Gears of War 3. It is for a style of game we haven't used for one of our competitions before - We thought we would try something different for a change. There will be a prize for the winner/winners and the format of the competition will be a knockout style of tournament using the WingMan Mode in the Multiplayer section of Gears of War 3. Don't worry if you don't have a partner just post in the forum that you want to take part but need a team mate and we will line somebody up for you. If you do have a WingMan Partner then great and both of you need to post in the forum and just let us know who your teamate will be! Once you have a team mate lined up you need to come up with a team name for your Wingman match-up!

The rest of the details of the Competition will follow very soon here. I hoping for the start date of the competition will be around the 2nd week of October 2011 but this is subject to change.

Also I would like to take this chance to say a massive thanks MickyB for making our brilliant promo video (above) for this new competition! Not only did he do the video and graphics but he made the music aswell! Cheers Micky!!!
